Chef Saye and his partner Dave Barcala have run the HOWLING COW on the campus of the University of California at Santa Cruz since 1989. Robb prepared for his culinary career with a degree in Animal Sciences/Large Animal Nutrition from Cal Poly, and now serves up a wonderfully eclectic menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner classics, as well as catering functions large and small. With that diversity that is the mark of American cuisine, the HOWLING COW menu features on the one hand a Polish Freedom Fighter, which is a polish sausage sandwich, with red cabbage, grilled onions and Swiss cheese. On the other hand, there is the Lexi Island Sandwich, consisting of tofu spread, carrots, sprouts, cucumbers, onion, tomatoes, zucchini and Italian dressing. |

Highlighting local musical talent, with specials on selected beers, Robb and Dave give you a new way to celebrate "Hump Day".
