CORTEC has been specifically designed for multi-unit foodservice corporations to administer recipe and food costing and inventory control at remote sites from one central location. CorTec uses internet technology to communicate between corporate headquarters and copies of ChefTec Client Software in foodservice operations that may be widely distributed.
CorTec is a very flexible system and it can be configured to meet the specialized needs of very different foodservice operators. Please see CorTec Users for a description of some of the different types of users.
The CorTec package is priced depending on the number of clients that an operation needs. The minimum package is one copy of CorTec Administrator and one copy of ChefTec Client. Note, that there is also a choice between ChefTec Client and ChefTec Plus Client. You can use an unlimited number of clients with CorTec.

CHEFTEC is a complete package that offers Recipe & Menu Costing, Inventory Control, and Nutritional Analysis. It has advanced features that take advantage of the 32-bit platform and none surpasses its ease of use. ChefTec comes with over 1900 inventory items pre-loaded to make startup faster and is our top-of-the-line software package.
The Recipe & Menu Costing part of the program allows you to write, store and scale an unlimited number of recipes. Recipe costs and optimum menu prices can be calculated instantly. Use any recipe as an ingredient in another recipe. Create complex menu items and function menus. Calculate food cost by percent food cost or profit margin. Kitchen readable recipes can be customized. Recipes can be saved in HTML format and posted to the web or sent to another ChefTec user. Recipes can also be imported in HTML format. A culinary spelling checker is included for writing your recipe procedures. It comes with over 160,000 words including French terms and Spanish culinary words. You may add any of your own words to the dictionary. You can also add preparation videos and photographs for plate turnout.
Inventory Control tracks and analyzes inventory purchases and price variances. The software can store an unlimited number of inventory items and purchases. Inventory items can hold purchases by multiple vendors with multiple product item codes. Ordering can be done based on bid prices, or on actual purchases. ChefTec allows for calculating physical inventory extensions. You can produce an ordering guide from par levels. For recipe costing, you can utilize purchasing history by last, highest or lowest prices. It has many detailed purchasing reports. Ability to import on-line vendor ordering files, such as US Foodservice and Alliant (Kraft) Foods. (Each vendor interface priced separately.)
Nutritional Analysis provides a quick and accurate analysis of nutritional values for over 1300 inventory items. Instant calculation of nutritional information of recipes. Automatically analyzes recipes against the FDA and NLEA guidelines for dietary or health claims.

At less than 5 inches tall and weighing only 6 ounces the Palm Handheld is a powerful pocket sized computer. ChefTec PDA was specifically designed to work with ChefTec and ChefTec Plus.
The Palm Handheld has backlit screens, making it easy to read in dimly lit settings, such as walk-in's. Complete with cable, protective flip cover, cradle and batteries, the Palm Handheld is simple to install and easy to use.

BEVTEC , using the principles of ChefTec, is a product designed specifically for the beverage side of the industry. BevTec includes over 1,100 inventory items that are the basics to every bar operation. It also provides users with over 1,400 drink recipes that can be modified and copied. BevTec is designed to improve profit margins by tracking fluctuating costs and directly comparing vendors' prices. Updated costs automatically update every drink recipe.
